Helen Morrison

Helen L. Morrison, 85, of Oak Ridge died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at her home.

She was born May 27, 1922, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Otto Henry and Clara Rudert Dost. She and John T. Morrison were married Aug. 8, 1951. He died May 2, 2002.

Morrison worked with her husband on their dairy farm. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, John and David Morrison of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Diane Bolen of Oak Ridge, Betty Kissane of Columbia, Mo.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, three brothers, a sister and a great-stepgrandson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
