PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Helen W. Miget will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Beck will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. to service time.
Miget, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood.
She was born May 24, 1922, at Fredericktown, daughter of Frederick W. and Emma V. Pogue Simmons. She and Lester "Red" Miget were married Feb. 3, 1951. He died Nov. 3, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Ken Miget of Kingston, Tenn.; two daughters, Charlene Hendricks of Collinsville, Ill., Jan Koser of Imperial; two brothers, Paul Simmons of Fredericktown, Dr. Lolard Simmons of Farmington; a sister, Madine Starks of St. Louis; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
