ANNA, Ill. -- Service for Mrs. Helen Louise Allen will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with Rev. George Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Mission Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
Allen, 65 years old, of Anna, died Friday, March 8, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 13, 1925 in Union County, daughter of Arthur Maine and Mary Ethel Sims Linton.
She married Howard F. Allen on May 10, 1941. He survives.
She was a member of the Pomona Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Allen of Anna, and Doug Allen of Ft. Worth, TX.; six daughters, Sue Dixon of Herrin, Ruth Allen and Elizabeth Glasford, both of Anna, Shirley Myers of Fairfield, Ill., Patricia Dunston of Tamms, and Diana Cargill of Dongola; sisters, Betty McCann of Jonesboro and Barbara Andrews of Kansas City, Kan.; and a brother, Jim Linton, Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two children, Brenda Lee and Roger Earl, two granddaughters, and 9 brothers and sisters.
