PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Helen Annette L'Hote, 97, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1923, in Perry County to Daniel and Theresa Pourney Gorman.
She and Leon C. L'Hote were married on June 27, 1942. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2019.
Helen was a stitcher for International Shoe.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Legion Auxiliary 132.
Survivors include two daughters, Lee Ann (Larry) Reiss of Perryville and Vickie (Mark) Winter of Creve Couer, Missouri; son, Thomas L'Hote of Green Cove Springs, Florida; sister-in-law, Catherine End of Perryville; seven grandchildren, Andrea, Matthew, Lisa, Lauren, Sarah, Ginny and Greg; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leon C L'Hote; brother, Meredith Gorman; and five sisters, Irene Carroll, Virginia Cissell, Vivian Ernst, Doris M. Eddleman and Margie Kahdeman.
Visitation will be 9:15 to 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
