DONGOLA, Ill. -- Helen Plott Kimber, 96, of Dongola died Friday, June 18, 2004, at Union County Nursing Home in Anna, Ill.
She was born Sept. 24, 1907, in Balcom, Ill., daughter of Harvey Augustus and Edna Kimmel Plott. She and Frank Kimber were married June 5, 1932. He died March 3, 1975.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dongola and Eastern Star. She had previously worked as a nurse aide at Anna State Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Robert D. Kimber of Dongola; a daughter, Jacquie Eddleman of Dongola; a sister, Elaine Rushing of Anna.
She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and until 11 a.m. Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. An Eastern Star service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. David Plott and Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
