MOUNDS, Ill. -- Helen Frances Kennedy, 80, of Mounds, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1995, at her home.

She was born May 8, 1915, in Ullin, daughter of Richard Elbert and Sophia Staduadcher Echols. She married Loren "Bosco" Kennedy, who died Dec. 29, 1986.

Kennedy was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pulaski.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Foss of Fort Pierce, Fla., Dee Sullivan of Catlin; two sons, Ronald "Butch" Kennedy of Mounds, Jerry Kennedy of Pulaski; two sisters, Eva White and Margaret "Mac" Johnson of Metropolis; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
