HELEN JONES

MALDEN -- Helen Jones, 69, of Malden died Tuesday , March 7, 2000, at her home.

She was born May 30, 1930, at Holindale, Miss., daughter of James Weathers and Helen Townsend Weathers Cooper.

She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Parma. Jones raised two nephews and a niece.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Jones and Jackie Williams, both of Malden, and Rosezina Jones of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Rosezina Lofton of Essex; and four grandchildren.

Jones was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after noon Saturday.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Watkins & Sons Chapel, with the Rev. LeRoy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
