Helen Elizabeth "Libby" Henderson, 94, died peacefully Thursday, July 14, 2016, at her home. Libby was born March 19, 1922, in Jackson, and was the daughter of Weston and Lena Henderson of Delta. She attended Southeast Missouri State University. Libby worked for AAA for 34 years in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. She moved to Florida in 1989 and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Helen Elizabeth "Libby" Henderson, 94, died peacefully Thursday, July 14, 2016, at her home.

Libby was born March 19, 1922, in Jackson, and was the daughter of Weston and Lena Henderson of Delta.

She attended Southeast Missouri State University. Libby worked for AAA for 34 years in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. She moved to Florida in 1989 and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She was the patroller for SHARP and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, No. 174 in Whitewater.

Libby is survived by one brother, Walter Henderson of Elon College, North Carolina. She also is survived by seven nieces and nephews; 13 grandnieces and -nephews; and three great-grandnieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Allen and James Henderson; and by a sister, Mary Hazel Smith.

There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Turner Funeral Homes, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609.

The funeral will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Ms. Henderson will be laid to rest following the service at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 8375 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34608, (352) 683-2082.
