SIKESTON -- Helen Hazel Williams, 85, of Charleston Route 3, died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1994, at Sikeston Health Care Facility.
She was born Oct. 11, 1908, in Mississippi County to James Arthur and Birdie Mary Fox Brown. She lived in Mississippi County her entire life and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Parish in Charleston.
On Feb. 3, 1924, she married W.S. "Sherman" Williams, who died Oct. 26, 1973.
Survivors are brothers, Paul Henry Brown, Englewood, Fla., George G. Brown, St. Louis and David "Gene" Brown, Denver, Colo.; a stepson; and a stepdaughter.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Henry's Catholic Church by the Rev. James Reynolds, parish priest. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
