Helen T. Gosche, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Perkins, Mo., to Emil and Christine Schott Kielhofner. She and Ralph Gosche were married May 28, 1949, at Oran, Mo. Helen and Ralph resided at their farm in Oran until 1981 when they moved to Cape Girardeau. She had worked at International Hat Factory in Oran and Thorngate in Chaffee, Mo. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality...

Helen T. Gosche, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Perkins, Mo., to Emil and Christine Schott Kielhofner. She and Ralph Gosche were married May 28, 1949, at Oran, Mo.

Helen and Ralph resided at their farm in Oran until 1981 when they moved to Cape Girardeau. She had worked at International Hat Factory in Oran and Thorngate in Chaffee, Mo. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Gosche of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Debra Rickman and husband Larry of Oak Ridge; two grandchildren, Laura Boyer and husband Jeremy of St. Louis and Eric Rickman of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a daughter, Saundra Gosche.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be said at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association and American Cancer Society.
