CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Memorial service for Mrs. Helen Eloise Mahan, 735 Perry Avenue, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Cape Bible Chapel. Hal Greene will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
Mrs. Mahan, 76 years old, died Monday, Jan. 21, 1991, at her home.
She was born Feb. 27, 1914, in Divernon, Ill., daughter of Levi and Bessie S. Starkweather Dyson. She married James Robert Mahan Sept. 4, 1935, in Springfield, Ill. He died Oct. 2, 1989.
Mrs. Mahan was a member of Cape Bible Chapel.
Survivors include a son, Roger Mahan of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Bob Jenks of Washington, D.C., Judi and Don McBride of Cape; grandchildren, Deidre Smith, Keicki McBride, Shawn Mackey and Kelly Mahan, and a great-granddaughter, Kelsey Smith.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra; a grandson, Christopher Mackey; a brother and sister.
