MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Helen D. Tomlinson of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m. today at Harmony Congregational Methodist Church. The Revs. Bill Ross and Randy Poole will officiate. Burial and graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Cemetery in St. James. Liley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the church from 9-11 a.m.
Tomlinson, 71, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Plainfield, N.J., daughter of Donald and Helen Smith McIntosh. She married George Reed in 1942, who died in 1955. She later married Roy Tomlinson in 1964, who died in 1971.
Tomlinson had been a dietitian at the State Federal Veterans Home in St. James. She was a member of Harmony Church and its WMU.
Survivors include a son, George Reed of Glen Allen; a sister, Mary Wagner of Sterling Heights, Mich., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, a sister and grandchild.
