ANNA, Ill. -- Helen Brimm, 89, of Anna died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, in Titusville, Florida.
She was born March 15, 1925, daughter of John H. and Tillie Hammock Wood. She and Charles D. Brimm were married Jan. 15, 1946. He preceded her in death Aug. 14, 1996.
Helen was a lifetime resident of Anna and a longtime member of Anna Heights Baptist Church. Following high school she attended Evansville Business College and worked many years for the Anna National and Anna State Banks. She enjoyed visiting her family and attending church. Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Ken) Calman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a son, Steve (Gretchen) Brimm of Spearfish, South Dakota; two grandsons, Paul Brimm of Savannah, Georgia, and Will (Kendra) Brimm of Ozone, Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Ketchie of North Charleston, South Carolina, and Ginny (Earl) Miles of Collinsville, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Dec. 29 at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 29 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darryl Williams officiating. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made to Anna Heights Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
