Helen Blissette, 89, 430 Sheridan, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1908, at Lodge, daughter of Virgil L. and Gertrude Alexander Parsons. She and Foy Blissette were married Sept. 27, 1934, in Waterloo, Ill.
Blissette was a secretary at Consolidated Steel in Mabank, Texas, many years and had been a member of Order of Eastern Star. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1991 from Mabank.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Virgil Parsons of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, June Gallagher of Broken Bow, Okla., and Elsie Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Seabaugh officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
