HAZEL SMITH

PATTON -- Graveside service for Hazel Florence Smith of Ventura, Calif., will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Patton Cemetery. The Rev. Stella Turner will officiate.

Liley Funeral Home at Patton is in charge of arrangements.

Smith, 84, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, in Ventura.

She was born May 15, 1914, at Belgrade, daughter of F.P. and Clara Stevens Buckley. She married Maurice Smith, who died March 18, 1994.

Smith was formerly of Patton.

Survivors include a son, Randy Smith of Arizona; a daughter, Shirley Thayer of Ventura; a brother, Kenneth Buckley of Farmington; a sister, Mariam Webb of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
