SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Hazel Parthenia Royal of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery. Jim Chappell will officiate.
Blanchard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Royal, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1915, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Wiley G. and Clara S. Stafford Stewart. She and Kern Royal were married April 16, 1932, in New Madrid County, Mo. He died in 1969.
Royal lived in Sikeston most of her life, and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Tallapoosa, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Royal of Horton, W.Va., Curtis Royal of Lance, Mich.; three daughters, Lucy Duvall of Bull Shoals, Ark., Lois Meese of Tallapoosa, Judy Wingfield of Frankfort, Ill.; a sister, Bonnie Cole of Farmington, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
