Former Cape Girardeau resident Hazel Marie Kauffman, of Montgomery City, died Saturday, Feb. 29, 1992 at Audrian Medical Center in Mexico. She was 68.

She was born Sept. 14, 1923 in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of the late William and Buna Wright. She married Robert Kauffman April 22, 1981.

Surviving are daughters Betty Edwards of Montgomery City and Jackie Mueller of Cape Girardeau; sons Roy Cutright of Granite City, Ill. and Ernie Cutright of Montgomery City; sisters Mary York of Cape Girardeau and Goldie Kidd of Monroe City; and 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and three sisters.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City. Visitation will be at the home Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
