BLOOMFIELD -- Hazel Mae Horner, 81, of Bloomfield died Friday, April 24, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1916, at Fisher, Ark., daughter of Emmon and Rosa Lawrence Furrow.
She married Clyde Horner on Oct. 14, 1932. He died Nov. 24, 1981.
She worked with Elder Manufacturing Co., at Bloomfield for 31 years, retiring in 1979.
Survivors include four sons, Les Horner of Dexter, Jerry Horner of Fenton, Joel Horner of Bowling Green, Ky., and Allen Horner of Imperial; three daughters, Mollie Wheeler and Barbara Musgraves, both of Cape Girardeau, and Regina Lang of Valley Park; a sister, Clara Lee Fox of Adrian, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
