BERTRAND -- Hazel Hunter, 87, of Bertrand died Sunday, July 14, 1991, at her home. She was born Nov. 17, 1903 in Portland, Tenn., the daughter of Andy E. and Millie Blackburn Hunter. She lived in Bertrand for the past 42 years. She was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston and was and employed with Missouri Delta Medical Center until her retirement in 1981...

BERTRAND -- Hazel Hunter, 87, of Bertrand died Sunday, July 14, 1991, at her home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1903 in Portland, Tenn., the daughter of Andy E. and Millie Blackburn Hunter.

She lived in Bertrand for the past 42 years. She was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston and was and employed with Missouri Delta Medical Center until her retirement in 1981.

She is survived by one brother, the Rev. Hershel Hunter, Tulsa, Okla.; seven nephews; three nieces and a number of great-nephews and great-nieces.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call Tuesday after 5 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
