HAZEL HASTINGS

CHAFFEE -- Hazel Ann Hastings, 57, of Chaffee died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at her home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1940, at Allenville, daughter of Amon Edward and Dollie B. Smith Seabaugh. She and Everett R. Hastings were married April 11, 1988.

Hastings had been a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jay Jackson of Chaffee, Roger Hastings of St. Louis, Dennis Hastings of Fruitland; a daughter, Lisa Islam of Austin, Texas.

Also surviving are four brothers, Alvin, Don and John Seabaugh of Whitewater, Amon Seabaugh of Leopold; three sisters, Ruby Hester and Betty Hicks of Chaffee, Carolyn Gibbons of Leopold; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Hargraves officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery near Whitewater.
