JACKSON, Mo. -- Hazel L. Duhaime, 82, of Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Aug. 30, 1919, at Neelys Landing, Mo., daughter of Edward and Mae A. Littleton Gohn. She and Arthur T. Duhaime were married in 1951. He died Jan. 26, 1986.
Duhaime was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where she was editor of the Capaha Arrow and Sagamore, and was also a graduate of Northwestern University School of Journalism in Chicago.
She worked at Ruthoff and Ryann Advertising in Grosse Pointe, Mich., and wrote ads 15 years for Vogue Magazine.
Duhaime moved to Jackson in 1984 from Grosse Pointe. She was a member of Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Joe Gohn of Jackson, Donald Gohn of St. Louis; and a sister, Mary Frentzel of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by a son.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Grosse Pointe.
