Hazel and Albert Barrow

Hazel Pauline Barrow, 80, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Albert Hugh "Pete" Barrow, 69, of Jackson passed away Monday, March 4, 2002.

She was born March 23, 1934, in Springfield, Colorado, daughter of O.R. and Loma Greer Gold. Albert was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Patton County, Georgia, son of Coy H. and Marie Albert Barrow.

Albert and Hazel were married April 11, 1951, in Miami. Hazel now joins him in this new journey of life in the house of the Lord.

Loving survivors include their children, William Coy Barrow of Tennessee, Daniel Albert Barrow of Pennsylvania, Loma Marie Newman of Jackson and Hazel Pauline Newman of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

A joint celebration of life ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J.T. Thompson officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
