MARBLE HILL -- Hattie Mae Irvin, 95, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1898, at Bessville, daughter of Hosie and Roxanna Huffman Hale. She and Shellie Roy Irvin were married Sept. 6, 1919. He died April 25, 1984.
Irvin was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include seven sons, P.R. and Otha "Sunny" Irvin of Marble Hill, Junior Irvin of Hillsboro, Ill., Jerome Irvin of Meredosia, Ill., Clarence Irvin of Springdale, Ark., Ronnie and Curtis Irvin of Farmington; five daughters, Beulah McKenna of Granite City, Ill., Lola Gibson of Marquand, Violet Hazelwood of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary Ferguson of Norma, N.J., Glenda Davis of Marble Hill; 35 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, and 15 stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, five grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Robert Sneed and Randy Masters officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Bollinger County.
