BELL CITY, Mo. -- Harvey E. Kelso, 94, of Bell City died Monday, June 12, 2006, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Mo.

He was born Sept. 8, 1911, at Arab, Mo., son of Elijah and Laura Adcock. He and Mary Ruth Proffer were married April 1, 1935, at Bloomfield, Mo.

Kelso was a retired farmer, and attended the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Clarence Kelso of Advance, Mo.; a daughter, Arbutus "Bootie" Sansagraw of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Ethel Metcalf of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
