Harry O. Myers, 87, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Wolf Lake, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born March 16, 1926, in Alto Pass, Ill., son of Oliver Newton and Cora Verble Myers. He married Madrene Krach on Dec. 31, 1946, in Piggott, Ark.
Harry was a sales representative with Funk's Seed Co. 34 years. He was a member of Jonesboro Masonic Lodge many years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Madrene Myers of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Michael (Kathy) Myers of Grand Tower, Ill., Randy (Elizabeth) Myers of Vienna, Ill.; four grandchildren, William Myers, Sarah (Matt) Raben, Amanda (Justin) Neilson and Brandon (Sheila) Myers; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Bill Littrell officiating. Entombment will be in Jonesboro Cemetery at a later date.
The preferred form of remembrance is memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
