EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Harry H. Linebaugh, 96, of East Prairie died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at the home of his son.
He was born Sept. 18, 1906, in Mississippi County, son of Samuel and Nina Brooks Linebaugh. He and Ruth Helen Baker were married Dec. 19, 1936. She died July 5, 1977.
Linebaugh was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County, and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a son, David Linebaugh of East Prairie; a daughter, Delores Richardson of Harrison, Ark.; a stepson, Joe Baker of Sullivan, Mo.; two brothers, Marshall Linebaugh of Cape Girardeau, Theodore Linebaugh of Charleston, Mo.; a sister, Evelyn Harp of Nixa, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, a stepson, three brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Larry Smith and Gerald Penn officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
