DEXTER -- Harry B. Jennings, 90, of Dexter died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Sikeston Convalescent Manor in Sikeston.
He was born March 14, 1909, at Purdy, son of Blythe and Lydia Graber Jennings. He first married Emma Lou McQuarry, who preceded him in death. He and Wilma Boone King were married Jan. 18, 1983.
Jennings lived in Dexter most of his life. He was executive director of Dexter Housing Authority 22 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dixie Teats of Magalia, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Shelia Williams of Wentzville, Brenda Sieker of Gerald, Rhonda Uthoff of Dexter; two stepsons, Terry King of Lodi and Don King of O'Fallon.
Also surviving is a sister, Dixie Harty of Dexter; two half brothers, Jack Jennings of Dexter, Carl Jennings of Poplar Bluff; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rob Teats officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
