SIKESTON -- Harry J. Richardson, 71, of Lawrence, Kan., died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 24, 1921, in Lawrence, son of Harry Benjamin and Ellen Huggins Richardson. He and Hazel Pauline Bocrkircher were married Feb. 8, 1942.
Richardson worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichita and then assisted his father with the family farm. He lived in Sikeston from 1970-88, where he repaired farm machinery. He was a member of Washington Creek Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Richardson of Mound, Minn.; two daughters, Christine Sterrett of Lawrence, Meredith Latty of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Kenneth Richardson of Henryetta, Okla.; a sister, Mary Jones of Flint, Mich.; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be Monday at Washington Church. The Rev. Lynn Witters will officiate, with burial in Washington Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at Rumsey Funeral Home in Lawrence from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today.
