HARRY HEADRICK

JACKSON -- Harry Lee Headrick, 74, of Jackson died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born Oct. 10, 1922, at Jackson, son of Eldon and Hattie Scheper Headrick. He married Ellen Irene Friedhoff, who preceded him in death.

Headrick was self-employed in construction in St. Louis and Cape Girardeau County, and had been a maintenance engineer with a hotel chain in St. Louis. He semi-retired and moved to Jackson in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Arthur Headrick of Jackson; a daughter, Nancy Richardson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Jewell Hellmer of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Albert Nyland officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838 of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.
