HARRY E. LAND

OAK RIDGE -- Memorial service for Harry E. Land of Oak Ridge will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Raymond Epps will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon to service time.

Land, 57, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 1994, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Chipley, Fla., son of Troy and Elma Bush Land.

Land was an over-the-road truck driver many years, retiring in 1978 because of ill health.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Morgan of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jean Weaver of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Millard Land of Odessa, Texas, Freddie Land of Lake Butler, Fla.; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son.
