JACKSON -- Funeral service for Harry C. Stueve of Jackson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Stueve, 69, died Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 1, 1925, at Wittenberg, son of Martin and Caroline Stueve. He and Lorene Richter were married Nov. 9, 1947, at New Wells. She died Aug. 28, 1979.
Stueve worked at Kasten Masonry many years, and retired from Lenco in 1981. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post 158.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Hardy of Jackson; two sisters, Ida Rauh of Pocahontas, Elsie Boren of New Wells, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
