ANNISTON -- Funeral service for Harry Reno Bailey of Anniston will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. Aubrey Wilson will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.
Bailey, 89, died Sunday, March 3, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born May 23, 1906, in Paragould, Ark., son of Homer E. and Alta Atti Cleveland Bailey. He and Pleasant Duty McCullough were married Aug. 25, 1926. She died Oct. 28, 1991.
Bailey had worked at Bomar's Welding Shop in East Prairie, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Ronnie, Harry "Tiny" and Phillip Bailey of Anniston, Homer "H.E." Bailey of Belle, Fla.; five daughters, Joyce Jones of Charleston, Linda Nunn and Judy Combast of Anniston, Jean Epperson of Ellsinore, Alta Vineyard of Pevely; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, two half brothers and a half sister.
