VANDUSER -- Harriet Mable Phillips, 85, of Vanduser, died Tuesday, May 28, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Sept. 3, 1910, in Gladewater, Texas, daughter of Nickolas F. and Annie Stover Troxell. She and Roy F. Phillips were married Feb. 11, 1932, in Sikeston. He died Dec. 29, 1993...

VANDUSER -- Harriet Mable Phillips, 85, of Vanduser, died Tuesday, May 28, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 3, 1910, in Gladewater, Texas, daughter of Nickolas F. and Annie Stover Troxell. She and Roy F. Phillips were married Feb. 11, 1932, in Sikeston. He died Dec. 29, 1993.

Phillips was a member of First Baptist Church in Vanduser, was Sunday School teacher 35 years, and served as church clerk several years.

Survivors include a daughter, Agnes Hill of Sikeston; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Graham officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
