OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Funeral service for Harold W. Witzman of Olive Branch, Ill. will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
The Revs. Jesse Bellamy and Curtis Alderson will officiate and burial will be in the Olive Branch Cemtery with military rites conducted by the Mounds, Ill. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
Mr. Witzman died Friday at his home. He was 64.
He was born April 26, 1926 in Olmsted, Ill., the son of Otto and Louise Weidner Witzman. On March 20, 1954, he married the former Betty Jo Walden, who survives.
He was a member of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church. He also was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II and the Korean conflict. He received a service medal and three Bronze Stars.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Kay Rice of Olive Branch and Mrs. Jerri Rogers of Zion, Ill.; a son, Rocky Earl Witzman of Zion; a sister, Edna Lowe of Silver Springs, Nev.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill. prior to the funeral service.
