Harold Lee "Smitty" Smith, 77, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at his home.
He was born June 26, 1944, in Salem, Missouri, son of Raymond and Daisy Black Smith.
Harold worked at Bristol-Meyers as a nutritionist sales representative. After retirement, he started S & S Classic Truck & Storage Co.
Harold honorably served in the Air Force National Guard.
Loving survivors include a son, Steven (Kimber) of St. Peters, Missouri; daughter, Sherry Seabaugh of Addison, Texas; three grandsons, Christopher Smith of St. Louis, Corey Smith of St. Peters and Brock Seabaugh of Addison; granddaughter, Zoie (Carter) Berry of Springfield, Virginia; and his loyal canine companion, Amy II.
Smitty had one brother, Vernon Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will start at 6 p.m. Sunday at Jackson Civic Center, with Smitty's good friend, Tim Sievers, as commentator.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
Smitty's family entrusted McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with his final arrangements.
