Harold Schubert

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Harold Lester Schubert, 89, of Perryville passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at his home.

He was born June 25, 1931, in Perryville to Otto and Lena Rhode Schubert. He and Virgie Ruesler were married Aug. 12, 1961. She preceded him in death April 4, 2019.

He retired from the City of Perryville. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy (Greg) Yamnitz of Perryville; granddaughter, Paige (Dylan) Triller; and grandson, Eli Yamnitz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a sister, Ruby Schubert; and a brother, Arno Schubert.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or school.
