Harold R. Trantham, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 4, 1922, in St. Louis. He married Estella Weaver Aug. 11, 1950.
He was a veteran of World War II as a member of the U.S. Army. He was also a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters union. He also attended First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronnie Trantham of Texas and Billy Lee Woodworth of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sharon Tripp of Jackson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Gary Brothers and Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
