BELL CITY -- Harold "Jack" Tilley, 74, of Bell City died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at his home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Vanduser, the son of Alonzo W. and Bennie Mae Walton Tilley. He married May Green on Jan. 11, 1946, in Shady Dell.
Tilley was retired from Missouri Litho Printer in Cape Girardeau as a letterpress printer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Harold C. Tilley of Cape Girardeau, Alonzo Tilley of Pasadena, Texas, and Anthony Tilley of Advance; two daughters, Deanna Wamble of Dexter and Tarita Dowd of Glen Allen; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, four sisters and a grandson.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
