ANNA, Ill. -- Harold Holmes, 76, of Anna, Ill., died Friday, June 11, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill. He was born Nov. 25, 1916, at Carrier Mills, Ill., son of Will and Maude Mosley Holmes. He married Dorothy Pratt, June 22, 1964. ANNA, Ill. -- Harold Holmes, 76, of Anna, Ill., died Friday, June 11, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Nov. 25, 1916, at Carrier Mills, Ill., son of Will and Maude Mosley Holmes.

He married Dorothy Pratt, June 22, 1964.

Holmes was a member of Stonefort United Methodist Church and retired from the Clyde Choate Mental Heath and Developmental Center.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dena Gail Bissey of Olney, Ill.; a step-daughter, Brenda Stokes of Anna, Ill.; a step-son, Glenn Tygett of Springfield, Ill.; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., with the Rev. Joe Hankla officiating.

Burial will follow in the Joyner Cemetery at Stonefort, Ill.
