ST. PETERS, Mo. -- Harold Dean Hoffmeister, 90, of St. Peters went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2018, in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Jackson, a son of the late Phillip and Virgie Brown Hoffmeister.
Dean was an Army veteran and a retired plant superintendent with Hussman Manufacturing in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Clark Hoffmeister; a daughter, Sandra (Joe) Egertson; a son, Douglas (Bernadette) Hoffmeister; grandchildren, Christopher (Alicia) Hoffmeister, Jordan Egertson, Tyler (Stephanie) Hoffmeister, Samuel (Erin) Egertson and Josh Lumsdon; and a great-granddaughter, Scarlett Hoffmeister.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Thursday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway Road in Ballwin, Missouri.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri (hsmo.org) or Bible Study Fellowship (bsfinternational.org), in memory of Harold Dean Hoffmeister.
