ADVANCE -- Harold Harper, 69, of Advance, died Saturday, June 15, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 29, 1921, at Little Rock, Ark., son of Guy and Daisy Vandiver Harper. He and Esther Clifton were married July 2, 1984.

Harper attended First General Baptist Church here.

Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Charles Wiley Jr. of Chaffee, Roger Wiley of Illinois; a sister, Wanda Lynch of Texas; seven stepgrandchildren, and six great-stepgrandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Lutesville. The Rev. Frank Shanks will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m. Monday.
