GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Harold Chronister, 72, of Glenallen died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 4, 1933, at Glenallen, son of Buford and Emma Jane Burns Cobb.

Chronister retired as an office equipment repairman, and was a member of Glenallen United Methodist Church.

He served in the U.S. Army and then in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include a son, James Hritz of St. Louis; a daughter, Kathy Snyder of St. Louis; a brother, Jackie Cobb of Morris, Ill.; two sisters, Jan Proffer of Marble Hill, Mo., Betty Kirkpatrick of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 9 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Glenallen Cemetery.
