Harold R. Bollinger, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 6, 2023, at Southeast Hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1933, in Bell City, Missouri, to Pearl Bollinger and Sadie Mae O'Bannon. Harold R. Bollinger, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 6, 2023, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1933, in Bell City, Missouri, to Pearl Bollinger and Sadie Mae O'Bannon.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, and enjoyed local shooting matches at Elks Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Bollinger; son, Jim H. (Jean) Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sandy K. (Alan) Haman of Cape Girardeau and Debra Green; seven grandchildren, Brandy (Jarrod) Thomas, Courtney (Jeff) Bourbon, Ray (Tana) Green, Jackson (Martha) Bollinger, Brittany (Todd) Limbaugh, Gunnar Bollinger and Remi Bollinger; and 19 great-grandchildren, Madison Stinnett, Katie Stinnett, Kelsie Daniel, Tylan Thomas, Nate Thomas, Kendall Bourbon, Kamryn Bourbon, Olive Bollinger, Perry Bollinger, Rhett Limbaugh, Leo Limbaugh, Skyler Conner, Ryder Conner, Colton Conner, Ari Daniel, Anayiah Daniel, Kingsley Stinnett, Kainan Stinnett and Kashden Stinnett.

Harold was preceded in death by a son, Ron G. Bollinger; grandson, Jay W. Green; his parents; his first wife, Norma Bollinger; and his loving pet, Sammy.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Green officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the family.
