TAMMS, Ill. -- Harley W. "Buddy" Poole, 75, of Tamms died Monday, May 12, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Hurst Bush, son of James Henry and Elizabeth Mae Mize Poole.
Poole had worked at Anna State Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Gary Harvell of Collinsville; a sister, Erma Richard of Ullin; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Faye, Dec. 10, 1996; by a son, granddaughter; five brothers; and two sisters.
Jones Funeral Home at Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
