Hardee Adam Jobe, 86, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 15, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center. He was born Oct. 3, 1906, in St. Louis, son of Alfred M. and Kate Schaffer Jobe. He and Florence Herbst were married Aug. 2, 1927, in St. Louis. She died in June...

Hardee Adam Jobe, 86, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 15, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

He was born Oct. 3, 1906, in St. Louis, son of Alfred M. and Kate Schaffer Jobe. He and Florence Herbst were married Aug. 2, 1927, in St. Louis. She died in June.

Jobe served in the U.S. Navy from Dec. 3, 1943-Nov. 23, 1945.

There are no survivors.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate, with burial in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m. Monday.
