SHOOK -- Hansel Delmar Fulton, 77, of Shook, died Thursday, July 11, 1996, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. He was born Oct. 17, 1918, at Patton, son of James and Rosa Fadler Fulton. He and Elizabeth Siemer were married Dec. 14, 1943. Fulton was the first commander of VFW Post 3416 at Wappapello. He was a member of Amvets Post 55 at Berkeley and Wappapello Eagles...

SHOOK -- Hansel Delmar Fulton, 77, of Shook, died Thursday, July 11, 1996, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Oct. 17, 1918, at Patton, son of James and Rosa Fadler Fulton. He and Elizabeth Siemer were married Dec. 14, 1943.

Fulton was the first commander of VFW Post 3416 at Wappapello. He was a member of Amvets Post 55 at Berkeley and Wappapello Eagles.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen Fulton of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; two daughters, Rita Matherly of Florissant, Claudia Desch of Jupiter, Fla.; three sisters, Lula Schneider of Patton, Charlotte Sturm of Whittier, Calif., Letta Gerike of Fredericktown, and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerhardt Gerike officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
