CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Hank Marshall, son of the late Nelson Robert and Dulcie Alma Jupp Marshall, was born Dec. 15, 1941, in Chaffee and departed his life Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
Hank retired from the Southeast Missourian newspaper after many years of employment and was of the Baptist faith. In 1959 he was a Chaffee High School graduate and went on to be a veteran of the United States Navy.
On Aug. 2, 1979, he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Gephart in West Palm Beach, Florida. She survives of the home in Chaffee.
Besides his wife, survivors include two stepsons, Brian (Amber) Coffee of Texas and James (Melissia) Coffee of Sikeston, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Kelly Danielle Arp of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Cynthia Renee Coffee of McMinnville, Tennessee; brother, Bud (Kay) Marshall of Jackson; sister JoAnn Tatum of Rockview, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Travis Lowe, Tyler Lowe, Trevor Coffee, Spencer Coffee, MeganJo Coffee, Samantha Coffee, Derek Chmielewski and Brianna Chmielewski; great-grandchildren, Landon Lowe, Jackson Lowe, Isabella Lowe, Ethan Cherry, Austin Cherry, Grayson Coffee, Brynleigh Coffee, Braedyn Chmielewski and Kyleigh Easley; a very special niece, Dulcie Mayberry, who helped with everything during Hank's illness; and his caretaker, Raichelle Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
