Hallean Williams

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Hallean Williams, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 11, 1919, in East Prairie, Mo., daughter of Burd and Minnie Harrel Oliver. She attended Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston.

She and Finley Williams were married Oct. 9, 1936; he died July 20, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Owens of Cape Girardeau, Sheila Bohannon of Sikeston; two sisters, Deloris Bundy of Terrell, Texas, Bernita Deerwether of Tacoma, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
