PERRYVILLE -- Gustave "Gus" A. Hoffstetter, 85, of Perryville died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Southeast Hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1914, at Perryville, son of Theodore and Catherina Ochs Hoffstetter. He and Alma A. Smith were married April 30, 1938...
PERRYVILLE -- Gustave "Gus" A. Hoffstetter, 85, of Perryville died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Oct. 14, 1914, at Perryville, son of Theodore and Catherina Ochs Hoffstetter. He and Alma A. Smith were married April 30, 1938.
He was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a member of the Perry County Sportsman Club and was retired from Gilster Mary Lee.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Perryville. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate, with burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
