GREG BUTRUM

SIKESTON -- Gregory Lynn Butrum, 32, of Reno, Nev., died of natural causes Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at his home.

He was born Sept. 29, 1967, in Charleston, son of Gary Lloyd and Barbara Sue Starr Butrum. He and Terri Douglas were married Feb. 22, 1994, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Butrum was a security guard at Chappa Security in Fort Worth. While living in Sikeston he was a driver with Friendly Cab Co., worked at Lewis Furniture Co. and had been assistant manager at Rent-A-Center.

Survivors include his wife of Sikeston; his father and stepmother, Gary and Susan Butrum of Leopold; a stepson, Joey Bryant of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Shelly Bryant of Fort Worth; three brothers, Tim and Brad Butrum of Sikeston, Mark Butrum of Dexter; a half brother, Rodney Starr of St. Louis; and a half sister, Shannon Butrum of Leopold.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Dolan Rogers officiating.
